This agreement explains what data leaves your device, which cloud AI models or speech recognition services receive it, and why it is needed when you actively use AI Write, voice input, or translation in Xboard.
AI Write
Data sent: The full text you submit in the AI Write field, the selected writing mode, and the current keyboard language.
Recipient: Kika cloud AI model services.
Purpose: To understand your request, generate writing suggestions, and return the result to you.
Voice Input
Data sent: Audio recorded after you start voice input and the recognition language. When Amphion is used, the selected text cleanup level and emotion detection setting are also sent.
Recipients: The Agora or Amphion cloud AI speech recognition service you select. Service authentication requests are first sent to Kika cloud services.
Purpose: To convert speech to text and process the result using your selected settings.
Translation
Data sent: The recognized speech text to be translated and the target language.
Recipient: Kika cloud AI model services.
Purpose: To generate and return the translation.
Required Device and Request Information
When connecting to these cloud services, Xboard also sends a randomly generated device identifier stored on the device, country or region, system language, iOS version, app version, and request time. This information is used for service authentication, compatibility, security, and troubleshooting.
After you select Full Experience Mode and enable Full Access, Xboard may connect to the cloud to retrieve AI feature configuration. Text or audio content is sent only after you submit an AI Write request, start voice input, or request a translation.
Your Choices
Submit only the content required for the current AI feature and avoid including unrelated sensitive personal information. You can choose not to use these features or select Basic Typing Mode under Privacy & Permissions.
The data described above is transmitted over encrypted network connections. Server retention, deletion, and AI model training practices are governed by Kika's published privacy policy and the agreements of the relevant service providers.
